The Story So Far...

Jack Kidd brings over 35 years of musical performance experience to every venue. As comfortable playing bass with a steel drum quartet as he is performing solo with an acoustic guitar and microphone. Jack received his degree from University of Delaware in Classical Bass and a Minor in Jazz studying with Douglas Mapp, Donald Byrd, Harvey Price and Tom Palmer along the way. He performed with the Ellen Lebowitz Quartet, No Chaser, several Delaware based Big Bands and the Royal Palm Steel Band. Jack then moved into the world of Top 40 pop and rock music and performed up and down with east coast with a variety of groups based out of Philadelphia. Including, The Jumpin' Jive Band, Public Service, Drop Dead Sexy, Runamuk, The Rockets and Decade 8. Jack also has experience with musical theater having played upright and electric bas in multiple productions in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Jack brings this experience to every performance with multiple influences and repetoire, from Jazz to Caribbean, Class Rock to Modern Pop, Orchestra to Big Band. He is available for Bass work, Vocal work and acoustic events.
